Shastan Homes is a family-owned real estate development and new home design / build company in Chico, California. Founded in 1977 by Jay and Linda Halbert, Shastan Homes have complemented Butte County with construction of over 1200 new homes and apartment units in the greater Chico area over the past 40 years.
Although Holli would spend her summers as a kid working construction clean up, she started working for her dad, Jay, on the development side in January 2006. She went on to work in San Francisco for a high-end luxury design / build firm. In 2015, she returned to Chico and started work with Shastan once again.

Phase 2: Preconstruction Activities
Design, architectural drawings, engineering, site review, geotechnical reports, product selection, and more.
Phase 3: Permits and Budgets
City & county permit submittals, trade bidding, construction budgeting, and value engineering.
Phase 4: Time to make it happen!
We begin construction on your home!
**Though Shastan can complete your project from start to finish, we can also seamlessly integrate into any preexisting home build at any phase.
